In Sumy region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine “doubled” a Russian battalion commander: unexpected details emerged

It turned out that the major accidentally ended up in the infantry positions, because he was sent there to be punished.

In the Sumy region, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated the commander of the motorized rifle battalion of the 30th motorized rifle regiment, Major Andriy Yartsev, with the call sign “Artist”.

This was reported by a Ukrainian officer who tracks the losses of the Russian occupiers, Anatoly Stefan “Stirlitz”. According to him, Yartsev was “doubled” in mid-June.

However, only now have details of this incident appeared in Russian public forums. As reported in Z-public forums, Yartsev, who was supposed to command the personnel, suddenly found himself among the soldiers on the front line.

He was sent there as a “punishment”. And it was done by the direct commander of “Artist” – Lieutenant Colonel Shipitsyn. There had allegedly been “tension” between the officers for a long time. According to the occupiers, Yartsev was eliminated in a gunfight when the assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the infantry positions where the major was.
