In Kursk region, residents loot shops

While Russian propaganda is telling about the “atrocities” of Ukrainian soldiers in Sudzha, Kursk region, local residents are quietly robbing their own stores and talking to Ukrainian soldiers in surzhyk. They assure that no one is offending them and ask for peace and evacuation.

Residents of Sudzha rob shops

Sudzha has been under the control of Ukrainian troops for more than two weeks. Russian propaganda continues to paint horrific pictures of “Ukrainian nationalists” killing and torturing local residents.

And the townspeople are sad about Sudzhan milk, Sudzhan butter and pasta. Local residents – mostly old people, invalids, sick people whom the local authorities forgot to take from Sudzha – spent the first days of the battles for the district town in basements.

Now they tell with tears that they didn’t even have bread for many days, and they took water from the local river, boiled it and drank it that way.

“People were left with the food supplies they had in the kitchen, and that’s it. They were afraid to go outside, and those who had basements went down there. My friends moved to the neighboring house, where they at least have a relatively normal basement, and they’ve been there for about ten days,” said a resident of the Kursk region.

Many of the people remaining in the city are now hiding in the basement of the local boarding school.

True, when Ukrainian troops began to control the entire city, many residents went to “rob” stores and pharmacies. Various products were quickly taken from the local “Pyaterochka” and “Magnet” – butter, cereals, pasta, sugar, they took toilet paper, shampoos. They also broke into pharmacies, took medicines by the box, whoever needed them.

“We are peaceful people, we do not wish harm to anyone”

On TikTok, Ukrainian military man badcop30 regularly posts short videos about his encounters with Sudzha residents. A local woman who stopped to talk to the soldier honestly admits: “We have everything, we robbed a store, but what can we do? I took some canned food and water.”

The other two women are pushing two large shopping carts from the supermarket. “Nobody is offending us,” they answer the soldier. To the question: “So who is to blame for all this?” they answer: “It’s all the state, the government, we are mere mortals.”

“They screwed us. We are peaceful people, we don’t wish harm on anyone, we are only for peace, advice and love,” says another resident of Sudzha, who met the soldier on the road. They still don’t want to say anything about Putin’s policy.

In the video, you can hear the residents of the Russian border town speaking in surzhyk, mixing up Ukrainian and Russian words. This is not surprising, since Ukrainians have lived in these lands for several centuries.

All that was left of Lenin was his torso

In the center of Sudzha, the prosecutor’s office and administrative buildings were destroyed. The community center and the Lenin monument were damaged. First, half of his head fell off, and now there is no head or legs, only the torso is still hanging on to the pedestal. Ukrainian military reported that the Lenin monument was destroyed by the Russians themselves with an FPV drone.

The Lenin monument no longer has a head or legs.

Russian propaganda Telegram channels were very worried about Lenin, even writing that, supposedly, “Ukrainians are afraid of the leader of the world proletariat even when he is dead.” And when a video appeared of our military removing the Russian coat of arms with a double-headed eagle from a pole, and next to it there was a stone dedicated to border guards, Russians in social networks insisted that this was how Ukrainians were fighting graves. In fact, this is also not true, since it was just a stone.

Propaganda still continues to assure that horror is happening in Sudzha, but the soldier from TikTok, who shows what is really happening there, is constantly threatened. They even said that he is already in Russian captivity, however, new videos have refuted the Russians’ lies.

  1. An army is a reflection of its people, so when you think about what the mafia army is guilty of, don’t be surprised when you see their people looting their own stores … and perhaps more.

  2. “We are peaceful people, we don’t wish harm on anyone, we are only for peace, advice and love” – fxcking liars! They elected the kremlin gollum, they kept him in power, they celebrated the “special operation”. All ruzzians are guilty!
