Vyacheslav Volodin ranked the citizens of the Russian Federation who left the country because of the war as traitors.

In the Russian Federation, they figured out how to “rip off” money from those who left the country . For this category of citizens, they plan to raise taxes.

“There are those who believe that it is necessary to give preferences and benefits to those who leave our country so that they return back. This is wrong. It is quite understandable why they fled,” wrote the head of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin in his Telegram channel.

At the same time, he stated that those “who realized that they had made a mistake” had already returned to Russia, and he wrote down the rest as traitors.

“The rest should understand: the vast majority of society does not support their act – they believe that they have betrayed their country, relatives and friends. It is right to cancel preferences for those who left the Russian Federation and introduce an increased tax rate for them. We are working on appropriate changes in legislation,” summed up Russian politician.

The Kremlin has problems with cannon fodder for the war with Ukraine. In this regard, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization, due to which almost a million Russians left the country. 

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Akhmetzhanov, more than 200,000 Russian citizens have arrived in Kazakhstan since September 21. In addition, 69,000 people left for Georgia, 66,000 for Finland, about 5,000 for Mongolia, and 3,500 for Kyrgyzstan.

In turn, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War reported that the security forces in the Russian Federation can deliberately create information conditions for the nationalization of the resources of the oligarchs. The funds are intended to be used to finance military operations.
