In Russia, as of 11:15 am on July 3, 697 people with coronavirus infection died per day, the federal operational headquarters said.

This is a new daily record since the start of the pandemic. In the previous four days, a record increase was also recorded: on June 29, 652 people died, on June 30 – 669, on July 1 – 672, on July 2 – 679.

In total, according to the headquarters , 137,262 people have died in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic.

During the day, 24,439 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia, which was the maximum value since January 15. The total number of detected cases reached 5,585,799. During the day, 17,899 cases of covid have recovered, and 5,053,417 have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic. Right now, 395,120 people are ill with covid in Russia.
