On February 15, Bryansk and Belgorod were subjected to a massive drone attack. As a result of the strikes, electricity and heating were cut off in parts of the Bryansk region and in Belgorod , and the attack lasted for more than 12 hours. The explosions and the work of air defense were reported by users of social networks and messengers, who published photos and videos from the scene.

Bryansk Oblast Governor Alexander Bogomaz said that over 170 drones were allegedly shot down in the region overnight and that the strikes targeted energy infrastructure. He said emergency services were connecting backup power and trying to restore heat and electricity supplies.

Consequences for regions

In the Bryansk region, five municipalities and part of the regional center were left without power supply. Explosions were heard in Bryansk and nearby settlements. Local authorities confirmed damage to energy facilities and reported the work of emergency services.

In Belgorod, according to local media, a thermal power plant came under attack.
The governor of the region announced serious damage to energy infrastructure facilities. In the evening, a missile alert was declared in the city, after which emergency and operational services began surveying the areas and clarifying the extent of the damage.

Scale of attack

According to the regional authorities of the Bryansk region, during the night and day, air defense forces allegedly destroyed more than 170 drones. The attack lasted for more than 12 hours. Some consumers remained without electricity and heat by the end of the day.

Russian propaganda media also reported that air defense forces shot down the 19th drone in a day, flying towards Moscow. No official details about the possible consequences in the Russian capital were released.

As OBOZ.UA reported, after the Defense Forces’ strikes in response to Russian strikes on the Ukrainian energy system, which have been ongoing for almost four years, hundreds of high-rise buildings in Belgorod alone were left without heat and electricity.

The city began to open heating points and drain water from heating systems, and the evacuation of children and pensioners was announced. Gladkov announced that the restoration work would last for a “long period”, which is why some hospitals, schools, and kindergartens in Belgorod were closed.

  1. The cauldron of devilry needs to suffer at least as much as Ukrainians have; preferably a hell of a lot more.

The consequences of having putler-rimmers in the WH; aka Kremlin West, are profound.
The kremkrappers can always be relied upon to live up to their name, but this latest drivel shows that they are emboldened:

🤬 Russia offers to act as “interim administration” for Ukraine

“Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said that Moscow is ready to discuss with the US and other countries the idea of external administration of Ukraine under the auspices of the UN.

Russia is ready to ensure the absence of strikes on voting day in Ukraine if Kyiv holds elections, — Russian Foreign Ministry.”

    From Ukraine Breaking News.

    • It’s my greatest wish to see massive suffering in mafia land. For all I care, they can roast slowly over a fire.
As for the interim adminstration, that’s just their typical bullshit that they throw into the ring to help waste time. It has as much chance as the proverbial ice cube in hell.
