Over the past day, 815 people have died from coronavirus in Russia, according to the operational headquarters to combat the virus. This is the highest daily mortality rate since the start of the pandemic. The previous one – 808 people per day  – was recorded on August 12.

In total, 168,864 people died from infection over the entire observation period.
