A 19-year-old conscript was shot dead at a training ground in Primorsky Krai in Russia. The victim’s relatives believe the reason was that he refused to go to fight in the Kursk region .

This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel “Important Stories”.

It is noted that the incident occurred on October 21 at the Illinsky training ground in Primorsky Krai. A lieutenant of the 394th Motorized Rifle Regiment began firing from a machine gun into a line of soldiers, as a result of which the bullet hit 19-year-old Artem Antonov from Tatarstan in the head.

A relative of the deceased told reporters that the conscript could have been shot for refusing to sign a contract with the army. In addition, the deceased did not want to go to fight in the Kursk region.

Also, according to relatives, the commanders abused Antonov. In particular, they beat him with iron rods on his arms and neck to force him to sign a contract.
