Residents of Odessa and people of Kherson, who temporarily moved to our city, gathered today near the Opera House to congratulate Kherson on City Day. Today, the hero city turned 244 years old.

Most of the participants of the action brought with them Ukrainian symbols, flags of Kherson and posters congratulating their native city.

During the action, many could not hold back tears. But all those who were forced to leave their homes are confident that they will soon be able to return.

“We have not forgotten our native city, we are with it. Yes, today, on Kherson’s Foundation Day, we are in Odessa under the Opera and Ballet Theater, but I am sure that very soon we will celebrate the victory near our Kherson Drama Theater in our Potemkin Square,” said one of the participants of the action.
