Due to the scale of the fire and limited access to the facility, current images of the situation are available mainly from satellites. The fire centers remain active even on the third day after the incident.

The Feodosia oil transshipment terminal is the largest in Crimea in terms of oil product transshipment volumes. There are two such terminals on the peninsula, the second is located in Sevastopol.

The terminal handles 12 million tons of petroleum products per year and has tanks for simultaneous storage of 250 thousand tons of products.

OBOZ.UA previously reported that as of Thursday, April 9, the marine oil terminal in temporarily occupied Feodosia continues to burn. The fire remains large following the latest attacks, and thick black smoke is visible even outside the city.

  1. Nice little long-lasting fire. It shows half of the peninsula’s people that the mafia runt’s war is not going as planned.

  2. Ukraine is the mother of all Slavs, time more arms will be shipped to help the defenders! 🇺🇦👍
