In temporarily occupied Crimea, a Ukrainian drone hit the vessel “Fedor Uryupin”, which the invaders appropriated after the illegal annexation of the peninsula. The drone found it in a bay near the village of Chornomorske.
The incident occurred on December 23. This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel “Crimean Wind” with a reference to a source.
It is noted that at around 5:00 p.m. on Monday, a UAV flew into the side of the tugboat “Fedor Uryupin.” The impact occurred above the waterline, the vessel did not sink, but it was damaged.

The tugboat “Fedor Uryupin” (IMO: 9443499), built in 2010, was seized from Ukraine in 2014 during Russia’s occupation of Crimea.
“According to our source, it has not been used recently,” the channel said in a statement.
According to the Marinetraffic database, the Fedor Uryupin has a Russian flag, but the Ukrainian state-owned company Chornomornaftogaz is listed as the owner.

As OBOZ.UA reported, in early December, Ukrainian surface drones struck enemy surveillance systems in the Black Sea. They were deployed off the coast of Crimea on gas platforms captured by the Russians.
