For 19 days, the Kremlin planned to capture not only the capital, but the whole of Ukraine, including Lviv.
On March 7, the Kremlin sent the fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych to Minsk, because until that day it had hoped to seize Kiev and all of left-bank Ukraine.
As Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov said on the air of the telethon, Russia has prepared two plans to seize Ukraine. The first stage was the capture of the left bank and Kyiv, and then it was planned to capture the entire territory of Ukraine, including Lviv.
“They had two plans. The first plan they had was: by March 7, they must complete everything that concerns the left bank, that concerns Kyiv. This was the last deadline. And on that very day, one citizen of Russia, and in the past a citizen of Ukraine was in Minsk, because he was supposed to be in other cities on the territory of our country on March 7,” Danilov said.
According to him, after the capture of Kyiv, the Russians wanted to capture the entire territory of Ukraine, including Lviv, in 19 days.
