In Kyiv, near the Sports Palace, after the “Oceanu Elsa” concert, TCC employees and the police waited for visitors and checked the men’s documents, public eyewitnesses reported .

“After the speech ended, near the Palace of Sports, employees of the TCC and SP together with the patrol police were waiting for the visitors. The men’s documents were checked, some were detained and taken away by force,” – reports the hromadske journalist from the scene of the event.

According to journalists, several men who had problems with documents or who refused to show them were detained by law enforcement officers and taken to the TCC. Several more were issued summonses and released. One of the women tried to get into the patrol car where her husband was put, and shouted that she would “go with him”, but the police prevented her from doing so.

The chief member of the TCC among them did not answer TSN’s question about what was happening and directed it to the press service.

“I left the concert, why are you dragging me?” one of the men shouted on the video, when the situation near the Palace of Sports escalated after the concert. People chanted “Shame!” a policeman

Artyom, a former soldier of the 93rd brigade, who was demobilized due to his health and was also at the concert, said:

“Somewhere around here they shouted shame. And if the police came, what would they shout? I understand, you’re afraid, it happens. But don’t be ashamed. When you’ve been hiding for three years and you’ve already been detained here, well, be a man, raise your head proudly up and forward. Nobody they won’t send you to be shot on the first day.”
