The Russians launched a missile strike on an underpass at the Lukyanivska metro station in Kyiv. As can be seen from the video shown by the media, the facility suffered significant damage.

According to Radio Liberty journalists , there was a direct hit on a pedestrian underpass. A crater formed at the site. People were hiding in the underpass during this period.

Lukyanivka resident Alla, who lives a block from the site of the attack, says people are just starting to return to normal life after the previous attacks.

“I work here, I live nearby, a block away, so it’s always like this. But I go and cry. People just started coming back, and we had some opportunity to buy vegetables, cereals, berries. And here we are again,” the woman told reporters of Noviny.Live , not holding back her emotions .

Due to the consequences of the impact, the Lukyanivska metro station was temporarily closed. As reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, the ground lobby was damaged by the blast wave.

“Trains on the “green” line pass the “Lukyanivska” station without stopping. Metro workers are already eliminating the consequences to ensure the operation of escalators and passenger automation. We will inform you about the resumption of the metro’s operation in normal mode later,” the Kyiv City State Administration noted.
