Attack on Kyiv

As UNIAN reported, on the night of May 24, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine, using 90 missiles and 600 drones against us. The main target of the attack was Kyiv.

European leaders and diplomats condemned Russia’s attack and its use of the Oreshnik missile, with French President Emmanuel Macron stressing that it “demonstrates the further escalation and impasse of Russia’s aggressive war.”

The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kallas, also said that Russia was terrorizing Ukraine with strikes on city centers because it had reached a stalemate on the battlefield. She called the attack “a horrific act of terror aimed at destroying as many civilians as possible.”
