On Sunday, January 30, the action “Thanks friends” took place in the center of Kiev, where the participants thanked the allies of Ukraine for their help to our state.

“Our gratitude is not for foreign politicians. Our gratitude is for the peoples of Great Britain, the USA, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Canada, the Czech Republic and Turkey. Because it is for the money of these people, taxpayers, that planes with weapons reach Ukraine. We want so that these people know that weapons are in good hands. This is very important for us. We are grateful. And we want our foreign friends to know about this too,” the organizers of the event say.
Participants of the action held posters “Thank you” in their hands. “Your cool weapons warm our hearts”, “Thanks friends”, “Ukraine is not Zelensky” and others. At the end of the action, the participants signed a banner of gratitude.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Germany is one of the EU countries that refuse to provide Ukraine with weapons to protect against Russian aggression. Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed that the German government has no plans to supply weapons to Ukraine , but will try to diplomatically divert the possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The other day, Germany refused to issue permission to the request of its NATO ally Estonia for the transfer of German-made weapons to the Ukrainian army.
