In Kherson, Russians are organizing a safari for people: Zelensky acknowledged the problem with air defense

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian invaders are constantly shelling Kherson and are actually organizing a safari for people.

As the head of state reported in an evening address to Ukrainians, together with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, he discussed the situation in some Ukrainian cities and communities near the front with Air Force Commander Anatoly Kryvonozhko.

“The situation in Kherson is particularly difficult: the Russians have actually organized a safari against people there. We need to significantly strengthen defense, more interceptors, more electronic warfare equipment, and more of our crews are needed there, in the city,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

Ukraine defends the initiative to develop anti-ballistic weapons in Europe

The Head of State recalled that a meeting at the level of national security advisors took place today and thanked the European partners.

“We are gradually promoting the topic of anti-ballistic missile production in Europe, we are forming an anti-ballistic coalition. It is worth doing this, and now we are closer to the result than ever,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

He added that 13 countries and the office of the NATO Secretary General were represented at the meeting of countries on the development of anti-ballistic missiles. “An important, very important initiative,” the president noted.
