A crowd of buyers literally tore apart cardboard boxes with goods, people pushed each other to be the first to grab scarce hygiene products.

Russia has made clear they are going to pour government resources into artificially propping up the economy . This may ease some pain in the short term but it is unsustainable . The worst is definitely yet to come .

I said months ago there could be Russians as refugees in Ukraine. Seemed crazy at the time but I still think they might try but I doubt Ukrainians would let them in after they’ve destroyed so many lives and even today still blame the West for everything.
