In the occupied Kakhovka, Kherson region, the Russian invaders set up a torture chamber in the police premises.

This was announced on the social network by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.

“In Kakhovka, Rashists set up a dungeon in the police premises, where they beat and torture hostages with electric current. Russian soldiers detain not only activists or participants in the ATO / JFO, but also men who have nothing to do with military service and did not go out on the streets of the city to rallies against the occupation,” says Denisova.

In particular, according to her, a formal reason is used for this – “violation of law and order” or “violation of the curfew.”

“Near the police station, there is a constant line of relatives of the detained men who are trying to find out about their fate or to hand over food and essentials. According to witnesses, there are more than 10 civilians in the premises of the Kakhovka police, some of them have been kept there for several weeks. Men tortured with electric shockers, beaten,” the Ombudsman notes.

“The most cruel Russian military refers to those who are related to law enforcement agencies – territorial defense fighters and former participants in the ATO / JFO,” Denisova said.
