In Kabul, a car of the Russian embassy became the target of a terrorist attack. This was reported on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The incident took place on December 1, when the car was driving along the road near the complex of the Russian embassy in Kabul. The diplomats in the car received a light concussion.
As noted in the Russian Foreign Ministry, most likely, the object of the attack was to be the car of the Afghan military, which was driving in front of the diplomatic car. “However, one cannot exclude the direction of the terrorist attack against Russian citizens,” the department noted.
The Russian Foreign Ministry demanded that Afghanistan conduct an investigation into the incident and ensure the safety of the diplomatic mission employees.
