As noted by the Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov, such towns are a temporary solution, for one year. During this time, local authorities and the government must provide people with housing for permanent residence.

According to Olena Shulyak, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, as of early July, about 800,000 Ukrainians lost their homes as a result of the Russian invasion.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that temporary housing for displaced persons after the war would be given to the military, doctors and police.
