The press service of the Southern Military District confirmed that there was an “abnormal triggering of the bailout system.” They stressed that both pilots were alive and that no one was hurt as a result of the incident.
At the same time, according to sources from TASS and Interfax, the aircraft technician received burns.
In March, an abnormal operation of the ejection system occurred at an airfield in the Kaluga region when the engines of a Tu-22MZ bomber were launched. The incident killed three people.

In the US air Force a pilot can only eject 3 times then he is off flight status permanently. It is very damaging to the spine. I wonder it Russian care one way or the other.
