On the night of May 30, explosions occurred in temporarily occupied
Crimea, as a result of which two Russian boats were hit. The target of the attack was vessels of the KS-701 “Tuna” type.

The invaders used such boats to guard the Kerch Bridge. OBOZ.UA was informed about this by its own sources in Ukrainian intelligence.

Enemy targets were attacked as part of an operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. According to updated data, two Russian boats of the KS-701 “Tuna” type were damaged.

It is worth noting that last year, Ukrainian military personnel destroyed two such boats in the temporarily occupied Crimea. KS-701 “Tuna” is used by Putin’s invaders to guard the Kerch Bridge.

Diesel boats with an aluminum hull “KS-701” are produced at the ship mechanical plant in Kostroma. The occupiers use them for military and civilian purposes.

The length of the boat hull is 8.1 m, and the width is 2.5 m. The crew ranges from 6 to 12 people, the engine power is 250 hp. s., maximum speed of the vessel is 85 km/h.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the Russian boats were destroyed by the Group 13 special forces with the help of Ukrainian Magura V5 maritime attack drones. The successful special operation was made possible thanks to the support of the United24 global platform.

Ukrainian intelligence officers noted that in order to neutralize attack sea drones on the approach to Uzkaya Bay, Russian occupiers in Crimea scrambled military aircraft 32 times, in particular Su-27/30/35, MiG-29, Be-12, An-26 aircraft and Ka-27/29 and Mi-8 helicopters. The invaders also randomly used small arms and 30 mm cannons.

Let us remind you that in temporarily occupied Kerch on the territory of Crimea on the night of May 30, explosions were heard. The occupiers temporarily blocked traffic on the Crimean Bridge. Later they stated that “two ferries were allegedly damaged from the debris of the downed missiles.”

As OBOZ.UA reported:

– The bridge in Kerch was blocked due to explosions also on May 25. In Crimean public pages, in addition to reports of explosions and “air defense work,” they wrote about a “fire on the site” and a large number of firefighter and medical vehicles.

– Also on May 25, explosions were heard over Novofedorovka, where the military airfield of the Russian invaders is located. After the explosions, smoke rose in the area of the airfield.
