“In the city of Bucha on Yablunskaya Street, 144 Rashists set up a real torture chamber. According to survivors, this was the headquarters of the Kadyrovites. They shot people point-blank, burned out their eyes, cut off body parts, tortured not only adults, but also children to death. According to information city ​​authorities, there are 360 ​​civilians killed in Bucha at this moment, including at least 10 children,” writes Denisova.

She notes that in the village of Makarov, Kiev region, liberated from the invaders, 132 executed were found – there are both mass graves and single bodies of the dead.

Denisova reports that in the forest at the exit from Gostomel in the direction of Irpen, local residents found a shot car with a family.

“Such actions by the Russian terrorist army fall under the definition of the crime of genocide in accordance with the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide and Article 6 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court,” the Ukrainian ombudsman notes.

Denisova appeals to the UN Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations during the Russian military invasion of Ukraine and the expert mission, created by the OSCE participating States in accordance with the Moscow Mechanism, to take into account these facts of war crimes and crimes against humanity of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
