On June 10, the KGB of Belarus added Danuta Perednaya to the list of “persons involved in terrorist activities.”
In Belarus , a student was imprisoned for reposting a post on social media condemning Russian aggression. The girl, named Danuta Perednyaya, received 6.5 years in prison.
This is reported by the volunteer human rights organization MAYDAY.
On February 28, 2022, Danuta was arrested by the Belarusian security forces. A 20-year-old girl was informed of the suspicion of “damaging the national security of Belarus and offending Lukashenka.”
On February 27, Danuta criticized the actions of Putin and Lukashenka in a student chat, and also called on everyone to come to a rally against the war. She expressed the opinion that the army of Belarus should not join the war.
On June 10, the KGB of Belarus added Danuta Perednaya to the list of “persons involved in terrorist activities.” The girl was expelled from the university, and she will now serve 6.5 years in a penal colony.
