“1+1 Ukraine” will show a new documentary from TSN especially for the US elections. Speakers who were participants in historical events will exclusively tell what happened behind closed doors.

From November 2 at 23:00 on the 1+1 Ukraine TV channel, a series of documentaries “TSN. A Special View” will start. These are journalistic investigations that reveal little-known facts about the events and processes that shape the history of not only Ukraine, but also the world. The first film will be a documentary by TSN special correspondent Olga Koshelenko “Secret Files of the White House”, which covers in detail the complex evolution of Ukrainian-American relations – from the first years of independence to the full-scale invasion of Russia.

Olga Koshelenko has examined declassified documents from the American intelligence services and the White House, opening the curtain on behind-the-scenes conversations that determine the geopolitics and fate of Ukraine.

For example, declassified conversations between US President Bill Clinton and the first Russian President Boris Yeltsin show that in the 1990s, Moscow joined forces with Washington to use pressure to take away Ukraine’s nuclear weapons. Bill Clinton noted the need for Ukraine to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty before the Budapest summit. At the same time, it was necessary to ensure that Ukraine received something in return.

“We have to put all our pressure on her. We signed a trilateral agreement. The three of us, so what now? I have to visit Ukraine in November. I’ll push Kuchma to the wall: a non-proliferation agreement, or they get no gas or oil!” Yeltsin said in a conversation with Clinton.

In addition, the film will show previously unknown facts about the events leading up to the full-scale invasion. In October 2021, the United States warned Ukraine about Russia’s preparations for an invasion, predicting the imminent fall of Kyiv. Washington called for defense and guerrilla warfare in the event of loss of control over the country. The head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, asked Valeriy Zaluzhny for an action plan, but he sent a fake document to avoid leakage.

“General Zaluzhny didn’t want to show the plan because he was afraid it would be leaked to the media or that it would fall into the hands of the Russians. He understood that Ukraine had only one chance to defend itself. If the Russians had learned about the preparations, where, for example, Zaluzhny was moving air defense systems, they would have attacked them in the first hours of the invasion. And the whole strategy would have failed ,” Time journalist Simon Shuster exclusively tells in the film “The Secret White House Files.”

How did the Kremlin authorities try to humiliate Ukraine’s role in the international arena? Why was the war with Russia inevitable? Why did Ukraine not become a NATO member in the previous years of independence? Speakers who directly participated in historical processes will tell about this exclusively in the film: assistant to US President Bill Clinton Melanie Verveer, interpreter of US President George Bush Sr. Yuriy Saevich, the first US Ambassador to Ukraine (1992-1993) Roman Popadyuk, special assistant to US President George Bush Sr., director for Russia at the US National Security Council (2002-2007) Thomas Graham and others.

Don’t miss the premiere of the documentary “Secret Files of the White House” on November 2 at 23:00 on 1+1 Ukraine.

  1. With the benefit of hindsight, we can see that Yeltsin’s Russia was already preparing the ground for a retake of Ukraine. He’d already committed terrible atrocities in Abkhazia and Chechnya before Budapest, but Clinton didn’t care, he just wanted to be ruZZia’s stool pigeon.
Ultimately it is Clinton (and junior partner John Major) that enabled a) the insertion of a tiny psychopath as dictator of ruZZia and b) the genocide of Ukraine.

  2. The denuclearization of Ukraine was the greatest blunder and treachery committed to a country.

“The head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, asked Valeriy Zaluzhny for an action plan, but he sent a fake document to avoid leakage.”

It’s unfortunate that I have to say that this was a good move by Zaluzhny. You simply cannot trust the Biden administration.
