The war is as hot as ever!
JUN 30, 2025
If we read corporate news, Ukraine has been forgotten.
The war is as hot as ever!

Is it because the press have lost interest, or is it because fear of Russia has diminished in the past few months? On the front lines the war is as hot as ever. The Russians are losing an average of 1200 casualties a day and gaining nothing but an occasional pile of rubble or muddy field. It should be possible to cover every square metre of land gained by Putin with the grave of a Russian soldier. All sent to their deaths for the ego of their sick and aging leader.
For the past years Ukraine has been forced to defend and absorb repeated Russian attacks that have carried Russia’s casualty figures past one million. A disaster for their ‘three-day Special Military Operation.’ Putin believed Russia could overwhelm Ukraine with attrition. Putin proudly stated Russia could suffer longer and harder than anyone else. He has been proved wrong.
Russian casualties are estimated at up to seven times Ukrainian numbers, but where Ukraine recovers and treats injured men, Russia keeps everyone in the front line until they are dead. Russian battle casualties are often left in the field to die of wounds. Having used all it’s regular troops, Wagner mercenaries, conscripts, criminals and foreign dupes, Russia is now taking the mentally ill from asylums and placing then in the front lines. This has resulted in stories of cannibalism when soldiers do not receive rations.
The ’predicted’ Russian summer offensive has turned into desperate suicide charges by untrained, unfed, desperate men who run into Ukrainian artillery and hope to survive. The alternative is to be shot by their own commanders. Many hope to survive long enough to be taken prisoner. It is their only hope.
Ukraine is establishing air superiority and although Russian missiles used on mass are still penetrating air defences to strike Ukrainian cities, the damage, from a war perspective, though tragic, is irrelevant. While Putin hits civilians, Ukrainian drones, missiles, fast jets, and special forces are striking deep into Russia. Their targets are specific, civilian targets are avoided reducing ‘collateral damage’ to a minimum. Ukraine continues to hold the front lines while depleting Russian logistical chains, troop concentrations and storage areas.

In the past week Ukraine has destroyed irreplaceable air defence systems in Donbas and Crimea freeing up the sky for further attacks. Operation Spiderweb destroyed fast jets and Air Early Warning systems on the ground. On 28th June four more SU 34s were struck again on the ground and destroyed. Three military helicopters were also added to the ‘smashed list’ in Crimea. Ukraine doesn’t only aim for the arrow in the sky; it shoots the archer and the fletcher. If Russian can’t make missiles, it can’t shoot them. If troops can’t get to the frontlines they can’t fight. When fuel and ammo can’t move everything stops. Generals know in modern war; air superiority is victory. Ukraine increasingly rules the skies over the front lines, and over Russia. Russian bombers launch from well inside Russian airspace to avoid Ukrainian defences, further reducing their range and accuracy.
It isn’t a one-sided affair. Russia still uses produces its own drones to good effect; the remains of their armour still plunge forward into mines, light anti-tank weapons and artillery. Most importantly, Ukrainian soldiers still die every day, but the tipping point has passed. Ukraine is gaining the ascendency. Although the soldiers primarily fight for Ukraine they defend the freedom of Europe. Their blood for our treasure.
Now is not the time to move our attention elsewhere. Ukraine is the war that could resolve many other wars. The defeat of Russia could lead Iran back to the negotiating table having lost its best friend. Developing Ukrainian oil and gas reserves would reassure Hungary and Slovakia and make them comfortable with EU policies. Stability is the path to wealth.
Ukraine joining the EU and a refreshed NATO would make Europe militarily secure for a generation and capable of holding their own if trust in the USA continues to deteriorate.

The G7 and NATO conferences made a point of inviting and lauding President Zelensky. They made clear the increase in military spending was primarily to assist Ukraine.
Ukraine should still be our centre of concern. Ukraine is the key to the future.
Slava Ukraini!

To smash putler’s summer offensive completely, Ukraine needs lots of firepower.
Many critical items : artillery pieces, ammo, long range fires, cluster munitions etc just to be going on with.
Nothing is coming from the United States of Krasnovia.
Europe, Canada et al must step up.
Fucking NOW.
Ivan Muskovy is livid about the $5 trillion BBB.
“Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame!
And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth.”
He called for Krasnov to be impeached.
Go Elon! 😎✌
