US President Donald Trump has suggested that he may lift sanctions on Iran.

He noted that the US currently maintains sanctions against Iran.

“And if they (the Iranians. – Ed.) do their job, if they are peaceful and if they can show us that they will not cause more harm, I will lift the sanctions,” the president explained.

The US president’s statement was part of his pressure campaign in recent days aimed at returning Iran to negotiations over its nuclear program.

It was previously reported that the Trump administration is considering investing in Iran to bring the country back to negotiations over its nuclear program.
