Vladimir Putin’s war of conquest against Ukraine and the West as a whole has failed. Russia has become weaker , and the West has become stronger. This was stated by US President Joe Biden during his final press conference .
Biden recalled that by invading Ukraine, Putin hoped to capture Kyiv “in a matter of days.”
“The truth is that since the beginning of the war it was I who stood in the center of Kyiv, not him. Putin has never been there. Think about it,” he said.
Biden also boasted that he was the first American president to visit a war zone not controlled by the US military.
Biden also credited himself with creating an international coalition of more than 50 countries that have committed to supporting Ukraine.
“And not only in Europe, but for the first time, Asian countries have also joined in. We have provided extraordinary amounts of ammunition, implemented unprecedented sanctions to ensure that Ukraine continues to fight,” the American leader noted.
