At the same time, Trump hopes that Putin is going to make a deal.

On the eve of a meeting with Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska, White House chief Donald Trump said he was not confident that an immediate ceasefire could be agreed upon, The Guardian reports .

At the same time, the US President believes that Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is going to make a deal.

“I don’t think we can get an immediate ceasefire,” Trump added.

The main goal of tomorrow’s summit, according to the American leader, is to agree on a second meeting with Zelensky. Trump added that three potential different locations for the next meeting are already being considered. Therefore, if he manages to agree with Putin, then he will immediately call Zelensky and European leaders.

The head of the White House also said that if the meeting goes badly, then he will not call anyone at all.

“There is a 25% chance that this meeting will not be successful, in which case I will [return] to govern the country,” the head of the White House said.

Asked about holding a joint press conference with Putin, Trump said the issue had not been discussed.

“I think it would be a good idea to hold a joint press conference, and then separate ones,” the head of the White House noted.

He then added that he would hold a press conference in any case, even if the negotiations failed.

  1. What happened to the boast of, “I will know in two minutes if putler is serious or not”?

He is going to give putler a few more months to try and complete his so-called summer offensive. There never was any ceasefire deals ever on the table.

So you need a meeting to set up a meeting? This is true TACO at work. Forget what Bessent said about sanctions, they don’t exist.
