The US President summed up his career and said that he plans to use the five months of his presidency to “do even more.”

US President Joe Biden gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago summing up his work as president. Among his successes, he mentioned Ukraine and its ability to resist Russian aggression, Golos Ukrainy reports.
Biden stressed that neither he nor his successor Kamala Harris intend to bow to Putin:
“Trump will kneel before Putin. I have never done that and I promise you, Kamala Harris will never do that. Putin thought he could take Kyiv in three days. Three years later, Ukraine is still free.”
He also noted his administration’s success in strengthening global alliances.
“I spent almost 190 hours with my partner heads of state in Europe to strengthen NATO. We did it, we united Europe, which has not happened for years, by adding Sweden and Finland to NATO,” he stressed.
Biden also urged Americans to vote for Harris and said he holds no grudge against those who convinced him to withdraw from the presidential race.
“America, I gave you the best. I gave you the best for 50 years,” the US president said.
