The world has finally started thinking about the war in Ukraine , and it is no longer a problem for the Ukrainians themselves. This opinion was expressed by the former commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Great Britain Valeriy Zaluzhny .
The retired general noted that his recent speech at the British think tank Chatham House had caused a significant stir in the world.
“It means the world is thinking about war. It means war is no longer just a problem for Ukraine. Then we hope that when diplomats start talking within these walls, the guns will fall silent,” he wrote in his Telegram.
Zaluzhny thanked the “frantic support of thousands of people online” and those who expressed their thoughts on his speech at Chatham House.
“I am also pleased with the reaction of the enemies. Their hysterical convulsions only confirm that we are on the right path. They are afraid of us,” he added.
