According to Péter Szijjártó, the decision has already been handed over to the Ukrainian ambassador in Budapest.

Hungary has expelled two Ukrainian diplomats over accusations of “espionage ,” the country’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced in a video message .
“Today we expelled two spies who were working under diplomatic cover at the Ukrainian Embassy in Budapest. The corresponding decision and note were handed over to the Ukrainian Ambassador in Budapest here, at the Foreign Ministry, in the last few minutes,” he emphasized.
The minister noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, anti-Hungarian propaganda has been growing stronger in Ukraine. And the reason for the current “slanderous campaign against Hungarians” is the same as the previous ones, namely because Hungary does not want to provide weapons to Ukraine.
According to him, his country “cannot tolerate a smear campaign against Hungarians.”
Exposing the Hungarian military intelligence spy network – what is known
As UNIAN reported, the SBU has exposed a spy network of Hungarian military intelligence. According to the agency, the task of this cell was to collect data on the military security of the Transcarpathian region, search for vulnerabilities in the region’s ground and air defense, and study the socio-political views of local residents.
As it turned out, the curator of both suspects was a career officer of Hungarian military intelligence, whose identity has already been identified by the Security Service, and one of his agents was a 40-year-old former military man from the Beregov district.
In turn, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Péter Szijjártó reacted to the detention of Hungarian spies in Transcarpathia. He believes that anti-Hungarian propaganda is often used in Ukraine, “which in many cases, as it turned out, has no basis whatsoever.”
