Hungary did not support the imposition of new European Union sanctions against Russia due to Putin’s recognition of the terrorist organizations “LPR” and “DPR”.
This was stated by one of the diplomats, reports CNBC .
At a meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU countries, Hungary stated that it does not support a package of sanctions against Russia, which Brussels intends to introduce in response to Putin’s actions to recognize the militants of ORDLO.
“All countries openly support new sanctions against Russia, except for one – Hungary. They stressed the importance of dialogue,” the diplomat said.
