Because of this, a joint statement was never released.
The Hungarian side blocked the statement of the European Union countries on non-recognition of the presidential elections in Belarus .
As Radio Liberty writes , citing its own sources in Brussels, this is precisely why the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos were forced to publish a statement on their own behalf.

The statement said the electoral process in Belarus was deprived of any legitimacy due to unprecedented crackdowns on human rights, as well as restrictions on political participation and access to independent media:
“Democracy requires free, fair and transparent elections, taking place in a society where human rights prevail, freedom of assembly and speech is not restricted, and where pluralistic media can operate freely. This is not the case in Belarus.”

The EU has been transformed into a three-ring circus by one of its least important and most fascist members, lasting for three years. You simply can’t make up such crap.
