Hungary Allows Russians to Enter EU Without Checks, – Media

The European Union is unhappy with this decision.

Hungary has once again angered the European Union by allowing Russian and Belarusian citizens to enter the EU without security checks.

According to the German publication RND , Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is becoming a security threat, since Russian spies and terrorists may be among the foreigners who have arrived in the European Union.

“For several days now, Russians have been able to freely enter the EU through Hungary without any checks and move to other EU countries. This became possible thanks to registration in Hungary as migrant workers, which Prime Minister Viktor Orban extended to people from Russia and Belarus in July,” the journalists note.

EU foreign policy expert and MEP Sergei Lagodinsky believes it is wrong to allow entry without security checks in a situation where the Russian government is trying to weaken Europe with hybrid attacks.

The latest scandals surrounding Orban

Let us recall that at the beginning of the month, the Hungarian Prime Minister arrived in Kyiv on a visit, where he called on Ukraine to cease fire . Soon after, he arrived in Moscow , calling his trip a “peacekeeping mission.”

The European Union harshly criticized Orban for this visit. It was yet another move by the Hungarian side that caused discontent among its partners.

Last week, he accused Poland of pursuing a “hypocritical policy” and said the destruction of Nord Stream was carried out under the direction of the United States.

  1. Hungary’s despicable actions have become an existential threat to all of Europe. I don’t understand how we can let Orban act with impunity and let him undermine the very foundations of the EU…

Thanks to “Jabba the Hutt”, terrorists move freely in the Union. Fix the problem!

    Art. 7 now!

  2. Every day, Hungary torpedoes institutions and destroys Europe from within. Today it is waging open war against the EU and its allies, it is absolutely insane. In Brussels they continue to hide in inaction.

Letting Orban plot is the assurance of a drastic increase in “incidents” in high-tech and strategic industry. Ukraine is the first to pay the price for these mistakes.

If Art 7 is not useful here, then when will it be useful?

    • “…European Union harshly criticized Orban…”.

As much as I agree with you Anonymous, if the EU can’t stop this big talk with no action, which seems to be hard wired in their DNA, absolutely nothing will happen. Orban has been a threat well before 2022 and yet nothing is done. Hence I believe the strongest economic and military association will only occur when the Eastern European countries band together and form a meaningful association. These countries have like cultures and understand the threat of Moskali.
