Hungarian parliament votes to withdraw from International Criminal Court

The country’s Foreign Ministry explained this decision.

The Hungarian parliament has voted to withdraw the country from the International Criminal Court, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced . 

“The Hungarian Parliament has just voted to withdraw from the International Criminal Court. With this decision, we refuse to be part of a politicized institution that has lost its impartiality and authority,” he noted.
