Hungarian Foreign Minister: Ukraine will not be in the EU during the war, there is no freedom of speech and elections there

He said that Ukraine’s entry into the EU while the war is going on will bring war to “the community, which obviously no one wants.”

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary , Peter Szijjártó, commented on the European Commission on EU enlargement, in particular regarding the accession of Ukraine. According to him, the European Commission’s assessment regarding Ukraine’s failure to fulfill the conditions is “correct.”

“The manner in which Ukraine is violating the most fundamental rights of the EU on the issue of national minority rights is particularly egregious. And since, according to the EU assessment, Ukraine has not met the conditions for membership, we do not consider any further progress on the issue of accession negotiations with Ukraine is timely,” he said on Facebook .

He added that Ukraine’s entry into the EU while there is a war going on will bring war to “the community, which obviously no one wants.”

“Ukraine is in a state of war, so we can see that neither freedom of speech nor freedom of expression is respected there, and elections are not held either. It would be obviously absurd for EU member states to take a position on how Ukraine functions under such conditions rule of law institutions,” Szijjártó said

  1. Hungarians: thanks to your putrid fascist government, you have made an enemy for life.
    Congratulations arseholes.
Btw, whilst the EU drags out Ukraine’s accession for another decade or so, it seems to have no mechanism for expelling undemocratic regimes.
Keep an eye on Ireland, which has built up a very high GDP/capita in recent years for unaccountable reasons. It is a prime putinaZi target. PutinaZi client IRA/Sinn Fein is close to making a breakthrough.
If it is successful, the EU will have no less than four putler clients in its membership:
    Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Ireland.

    • When Hungary complains about the lack of Hungarian schools….in Ukraine….I would like to see someone ask these Hungo-nazis how many Ukrainian schools are in Hungary. You know the answer, its the same as in ruzzia.

In my opinion we should go ahead and build some Hungarian schools in Zakharpatia and attract more Hungarians to Ukraine. Then the Hungo-nazis will complain about that. Then after we get EU membership we can see whether or not to keep them.
