Arina Ginzburg is the widow of dissident, journalist and publisher Alexander Ginzburg.

In 1968, Arina Ginzburg participated in a petition campaign around the Process of Four,  a political trial against Soviet dissidents Alexander Ginzburg, Yuri Galanskov, Alexei Dobrovolsky and Vera Lashkova, who were accused of anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda. Since 1974, Ginzburg has participated in the activities of the Fund for Assistance to Political Prisoners.

In 1980, Arina Ginzburg was forced to leave the USSR after her husband Alexander Ginzburg, who was expelled from the country. She lived in Paris with her husband and two children, in exile she worked as a journalist. Her husband died in 2002 in Paris.
