If Spew-ker Johnson was an honourable man, I’d refer him to the well known Republican strategist Steven Moore, who can confirm categorically that Christians are being tortured, raped and murdered in Ukraine. All denominations, but evangelicals are particularly targeted. How does he square that with his religion?
    But he has no honour and will stick implacably with his magaputler murderers by proxy.

    • I really do not know how he squares what he practices under the guise of religion. NAR movement is akin to witchcraft in it seeks to intimidate, manipulate, and dominate.

      • Yes I looked them up. Pretty damn creepy. On a related topic, have you heard of “Pastor Mark Driscoll?” A nasty piece of work with a Republican fan base. Roman Sheremeta:

        Can you imagine a pastor saying: “No matter what your thoughts are on Putin, I think we can all agree we need a leader who loves this country as much as he loves his.” This is exactly what Mark Driscoll posted on Twitter.

        First, what do you mean by “no matter what your thoughts are on Putin”? Any Christian with a moral compass understands that Putin is a war criminal, who ordered a genocide, kidnapped children, killed hundreds of thousands of people. So, no we don’t need such a leader in the US.

        Second, “who loves this country as much as he loves his.” Ukrainians first hand have experienced the “love” of Putin. And yes, Putin loves his country so much that he killed over 400 thousands of his people to commit genocide of Ukrainians.

        Is this man even a follower of Jesus? Seems like the world of Jesus in Matthew 7:15 apply well for him: “They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.”

        • I heard him mentioned briefly here and there. From looking appears to have been with Mars Hill non denom but may have had loose association with the Southern Baptists. Mars Hill consisted of about 13 churches of which he pastored at least one in North Dakota. They went though a hierarchical revamp and rebrand at which time Driscoll resigned. Sermons were still compiled to a site he made/used/or had access to. Appears he may now work out of Arizona, and still does podcasts and videos. I’ve not listened to him or watched his videos.

    • It may still be worth the call, Scradge. At least Johnson’s staffers may be impressed about voters with a christian conservative background arguing for determined action against the forces of evil. His team does have some leverage to persuade him. And not even effing Mike Johnson can totally ignore voters. No politician can. 😕
