To give an idea of what these negotiations might look like — and to consider the cost of a possible deal — former Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba joins Christiane from Kyiv.

  1. This interview attracted c. 100 comments: almost all of them triumphalist kremtrolls or just straight out lies like this one from someone called @domino20:

“Russia shouldn’t have invaded but Ukraine isn’t blameless either. Why couldn’t Ukraine simply treat the Russian population in the eastern provinces decently? They didn’t necessarily want to join Russia, they just wanted more autonomy from the government of Ukraine after 2014 and they weren’t getting it. There were opportunities with the Minsk accords and the 2022 Istanbul agreement to avoid all this death and destruction without trying to drag the whole world into risking nuclear war.”

    • This is a typical ignoramus who prefers to swallow russian vomit rather than looking elsewhere for the truth. It’s either pure laziness, or, more likely, low intelligence.
