How did we end up with such incompetent leaders?
This is the Vice President of the United States claiming that “every major conflict in human history,” including “World War II,” ended with “negotiation.”
Anyone who went to school knows that World War II ended with Germany and Japan’s unconditional surrender — not negotiation.

You have a Russian film at 40, which is in dubious taste, given the terrible atrocities currently being inflicted by Russia on Ukrainians right now.

Rubbish. They weren’t “drawn into it,” they started it.
They invaded Poland in 1939 with their partners Germany and committed atrocities such as the Katyn massacres.
