Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing the honorary title “Honored Worker of the Penitentiary System of the Russian Federation.” The document is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.
In particular, it will be possible to become an Honored Worker for “personal merits in the execution of criminal penalties and preventive measures in the form of detention and house arrest.”
It is assumed that the honorary title will mainly be awarded to those who have worked in the authorities for at least 20 years and have any other awards.
