Information about the upcoming visit was confirmed by the press service of the Foreign Ministry, noting that this was discussed during a telephone conversation between Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and French Foreign Minister Le Drian.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy informed his French counterpart in detail about the current security situation near the state border, in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in the Black Sea region.
He thanked France for the decision not to carry out the evacuation of family members and employees of the French embassy in Kiev for the time being.
Kuleba and Le Drian noted the importance of maintaining vigilance and firmness during contacts with the Russian side. They agreed to continue active diplomacy to advance the political and diplomatic settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict.
In this context, the ministers commended the meeting of political advisers to the Normandy Format heads of state in Paris on 26 January and their agreement to hold their next meeting in Berlin in two weeks. Kuleba expressed his gratitude to France for its leadership in this process.
The ministers discussed assistance to the Ukrainian economy to overcome security challenges. They also stressed the need to refrain from steps that could create public anxiety and undermine financial stability.
Kuleba is waiting in Ukraine for Le Drian and German Federal Foreign Minister Burbock, who will visit our country on February 7-8 as part of a joint visit, in particular, they will make a trip to the line of demarcation in eastern Ukraine.
Also on Tuesday, February 1, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki will arrive in Ukraine on a working visit. This was announced on Twitter by the spokesman for the Polish government, Piotr Müller.
“Poland supports Ukraine in activities aimed at preventing aggression from Russia. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will meet with the President and Prime Minister of Ukraine on Tuesday in Kiev. We will do our best to maintain peace in Europe,” Muller said.

The representatives from Germanystan and frog land can stay home. If they want to trounce on Ukraine, it’s better to do so from there instead of in Kyiv. Britain and Poland are highly welcome.
