The   high military command of Russia knew about the atrocities in Bucha .

This was announced on the air of the national marathon by Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office.

“This is possible under two conditions, either they had no connection with the Russian leadership, or they deliberately did it at the highest state level. That is, they gave orders and they went along the entire military chain. But since they went out in a very organized manner, this means that the control was not lost. The Russian command encouraged such behavior of the servicemen,” he said.

According to Arestovich, war crimes in Bucha contributed to Russia’s even greater isolation in the world.

“Russia is in complete isolation, everyone sent it, this isolation is inevitable, Bucha raised the question that it is impossible to remain neutral,” he stressed.
