You defrosted the fridge, or the freezer? Does your freezer have coils at the back for cooling, if so, they might need cleaning if any dust or other crap is stopping air from circulating. If it has no coils, it will have a fan. The fan might need replacing, or something is stopping it from turning.
I did defrost the fridge. It only makes a clicking sound. The fan jumps on for five seconds every 30 minutes or so, and then comes a click and it’s off again. The fan is clean from what i can see.

Thanx. After what i read i decided to buy a new one. Will cost me $200. The downside is it will be delivered in two weeks. Means i will rely on a pizza joint for two weeks now. ๐
How come you have to wait two weeks? Is it coming from China? LMAO
Yeah. No idea. The others i called said it takes up to six weeks. Problem is that not even the smaller fridge fits into our Lada. But a new car costs more than the fridge. ๐
Probably cost more to repair your old one, than buying a new one anyway. I hope your pizza joint has a good selection, don’t want to be eating the same one every day. ๐

Mike, from the symptoms you describe it sounds very much to me that your fridge / freezer is what we professionals call ‘Fucked’.
You can’t rent a pick me up truck to haul a fridge? Here everyone has at least one in the family.
My license was revoked and Suza is only allowed to drive cars, for trucks one needs an extra license here. Anyway, already ordered the spin-freezer. ๐
Here as in the US, a P-up is the same as a car. Some are as nice as Cadillacs. Four wheel drive 3/4 ton trucks to drive to work in downtown LA.
