Helicopter Missing in Russia: 22 People on Board

A Mi-8T helicopter with people on board has disappeared in Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula .

As reported by ” Beware, News “, a helicopter of the company “Vityaz Aero”, which is engaged in tourist transportation, stopped communicating in the area of the Vachkazhets volcano.

The aircraft was flying from a site in the area of the Vachkazhets volcano to the Nikolaevka site, but the crew did not make contact at the appointed time.

According to preliminary data, there are 22 people on board – 19 passengers and three crew members. A Mi-8 helicopter, as well as a ground group from the Kamchatka Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, have taken off to search.
