The head of the Pentagon assured that a peaceful resolution of the war is best in the interests of the United States.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Russia is the aggressor in the war against Ukraine. However, he refused to say directly which country he expects to win, The Washington Post reports .

It is noted that Republican Senator Mitch McConnell, during a hearing in the Senate Appropriations Committee, asked Hegseth who he considered the aggressor in the Russian-Ukrainian war and who is the victim. To this, the head of the Pentagon replied that it was Moscow that started the war, but did not call Ukraine a victim.

In addition, in response to a senator’s question about who Hegseth wants to see as the winner in the Russian-Ukrainian war, he said that a peaceful resolution of the conflict is best in the interests of the United States.

“We are now in a situation where Vladimir Putin knows that President Trump is a strong leader. He knows that his word carries weight… President Trump is focused on peace in this war. Ultimately, peace serves our national interests. That is why a peace agreement on Ukraine makes America strong, shows that we understand peace and know what we want to focus on, even as we recognize that Russia is the aggressor, and support the efforts of the Ukrainians,” the head of the Pentagon added.

  1. “We are now in a situation where Vladimir Putin knows that President Trump is a strong leader. ”

Total BS. Trump is totally subservient to the kremlin terrorist leader. If Trump was a strong leader those sanctions would be in place by now and the war would be over.

  2. “We are now in a situation where Vladimir Putin knows that President Trump is a strong leader. ”

Let me translate this bimbo’s statement:
“We are now in a situation where vladimir putin knows that President Trump is a Taco.”
