The head of the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, Gregory Meeks, got acquainted with the situation in Ukraine during a meeting on the border with the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxim Kozitsky.

In a conversation with Meeks, Maxim Kozitsky once again noted the importance of closing the sky over Ukraine. The head of the UVA also added that more than a million people have already signed an international petition to NATO on this issue. He stressed that the sky over Ukraine has been closed for civil aviation since the beginning of the war. Now the most important thing is to close it to Russian military aviation, because innocent civilians are dying because of it.
“Russian troops must realize that if they went to war against us, they must fight with the Ukrainian army, and not with unarmed people,” Maxim Kozitsky notes.
He also asked the United States as a partner country to support Ukraine with body armor, combat helmets, vehicles, medicines and field hospitals.
“Chairman of the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs agreed with the importance of what I said and promised to take the initiative to increase assistance for Ukraine,” Maxim Kozitsky said.

Russia has threatened to attack Ukrainian enterprises of the military-industrial complex (OPK), warning the staff about the “threat to life”.
This is stated in the official statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
