On October 25 and the night of October 26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a workshop producing batteries for Russian weapons at the Energia enterprise in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation. A fire broke out on the territory of the plant.
The results of previous strikes on the Proton-Electrotex enterprise, the launch site for attack drones in the Donetsk region, and the Togliattikauchuk plant have also been confirmed. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Attack on the Energia plant in Yeltsin
On October 25 and the night of October 26, Ukrainian military personnel struck a workshop for the production of batteries for enemy weapons at the Energia enterprise in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region of Russia. After the strike, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise.
The General Staff noted that the defeat makes it difficult for the Russian army to produce power sources for missiles, guided bombs, and other weapons.
Energia is the only manufacturer of batteries for bomb planning and correction modules. The company also manufactures batteries for Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems and sea-based cruise missiles.
What is known about the results of the strike on Proton-Electrotex?
According to the results of the attack, which occurred on October 23, the destruction of the main microcircuit production workshop at the Proton-Electrotex enterprise in the city of Orel, Oryol region of the Russian Federation, was confirmed.
The company’s building and servers were also damaged. The General Staff emphasized that this makes it more difficult for the enemy to produce components for cruise and ballistic missiles, with which Russia attacks Ukrainian cities.
Facilities for training strike drones damaged in Donetsk region
The results of the destruction of a storage, preparation, and launch site for strike drones in the Donetsk region on October 23 were also confirmed.
According to the General Staff, three buildings used for training and equipping strike UAVs, as well as one launch rail, were damaged.
Destruction of these objects reduces the enemy’s ability to attack Ukraine and civilian infrastructure with drones of various modifications.
Attack on the Togliattikauchuk plant
On October 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tolyattikauchuk plant in the city of Tolyatti, Samara Region, Russia.
The impact damaged a process pipeline, two butyl rubber production plants, and one rectification plant.
As noted by the General Staff, this affects the production chain of solid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles.
The General Staff announced the continuation of strikes on Russian military targets
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine strike enemy military facilities within the right to self-defense guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter.
“Work on the enemy’s key military targets will continue until the complete cessation of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff noted.
