According to Nikita Shaulsky’s father, his son had been in captivity since April 19, 2022.
National Guardsman Nikita Shaulsky, whose brother and grandmother were killed in a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on September 21 this year, returned from Russian captivity on December 30. According to Nikita’s father, Andrey Shaulsky, he and his wife are now traveling to meet their son.

“He called and said he was in Ukraine. We cried, of course, we were overwhelmed with emotions. He said: “Dad, don’t cry.” But these were tears of joy. Such a gift for the New Year. For three years we had this premonition that it was about to happen,” the man noted in a comment to Suspilne.
Andrei Shaulsky added that his son had been in captivity since April 19, 2022.
According to his father, Nikita already knows about the death of his brother Maxim and grandmother Valentina.
“We wanted to tell him personally. He asked for Maxim and his grandmother’s phone number, but we said there was no connection due to power outages. But he had already read everything on the Internet…”, Shaulsky emphasized.
